Meet Jason and his team Jason Ferrara is the director of fitness and wellness at Pelican Bay, a position he has held since October 2005, when he pioneered the program. He was instrumental in the grand opening of the Community Center in January 2006. He has cultivated a dynamic team of over 30 professionals, including personal trainers, massage therapists, group exercise instructors, and estheticians. These dedicated team members are available to help guide you through the program offerings. Under his leadership, Pelican Bay’s Fitness and Wellness Center has become one of the busiest private clubs in Southwest Florida. He has expanded fitness offerings to include 54 classes at peak season across four strategic locations and spearheaded a successful gym renovation in October 2023. He was recognized as one of the Top Ten Personal Trainers in Southwest Florida in 2008. He has maintained long-term staff retention and developed specialized training programs for racquet sports and golf, accommodating a wide range of ages and fitness challenges. He introduced after-hours programs, providing members with the flexibility to access facilities from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. He is a devoted husband and father, cherishing his marriage and the joy of raising his daughter. His passion for fitness and wellness is matched only by his commitment to his family and the Pelican Bay community.
