Court Sports Pelican Bay is significantly enhancing its pickleball offerings with several exciting developments at the Community Park. The recently completed pickleball facility has been designated a Regional Certification & Training Facility by RacketPro (RPO), a prestigious recognition that will attract top-tier coaching talent. Our coaching staff is Racquet Pro certified and will hold certified workshops throughout season. To support these advancements, Michelle Esquivel joined the team as the community park racquets and operations manager, and Evan “Dino” Dinopoulos joined as the pickleball instruction and development manager. The new Pelican Bay Community Park opened with a focus on ratings, open play, and introductory programs for both pickleball and tennis. USTA Tennis and Pickleball Traveling Teams were formed, and home matches started in November. Adding to the recreational atmosphere, outdoor ping pong, corn hole, and Connect Four will be available. Pelican Bay-branded pickleball paddles are also available for purchase at the Community Park retail shops. This prestigious award recognizes the commitment to the growth and development of tennis in the community, highlighting Pelican Bay’s vibrant tennis program, which includes tournaments, events, clinics, and team programs.
