• The berms, boardwalks and decks may not be blocked at any time. • Berms may be used by pedestrians, cyclists, baby strollers, Rollerbladers, wheelchairs and trams. • No skateboards, scooters, electric bikes or hoverboards are allowed on the berms. • No pets, bikes, Rollerblades or skateboards are allowed on the boardwalk. • Motorized vehicles (battery, gas, solar, etc.) other than trams and electric wheelchairs are prohibited from the berm, boardwalks and decks. • Small-sized carriers for stand-up paddleboards are permitted on boardwalks provided they are not so large as to impede tram traffic. These carriers and/or paddleboards are not permitted on the tram. BEACH The following rules apply to the beach: • There are no lifeguards on duty. • Possession of glass containers is prohibited. • Cooking and open fires are prohibited. • Fishing is permitted, but not in populated areas. • No live shelling • Pets and assistance animals are not permitted on the private beach. DRONES The Foundation prohibits the use of drones, except for individuals performing a job-specific task that has been approved in advance and in writing by the Foundation. This exception approval may be granted or withheld at the President’s discretion but would include activities related to certain law enforcement agency activity, environmental monitoring, inspection, mapping, certain engineering or surveying evaluation or documentation, or inspection of project or construction sites. Real estate-purpose use of drones shall only be considered when the prior approval of the owner of any and all property being flown over or by is obtained in writing. To be considered for approval, an application (which is available on at pelicanbay.org) must be completed and submitted, along with all of the requirements listed on the application, to the Covenants Department a minimum of 10 business days prior to proposed flight dates. 911 EMERGENCIES In the event of an emergency (medical or other), call 911 immediately. 911 emergency phones are available throughout Pelican Bay. When you press the call button, you will be connected directly to a 911 operator. We encourage you to use these call boxes rather than your cellphone when possible, as cell towers do not always give exact locations of an emergency. Our staff has been trained to call 911 in the event of any emergency to ensure your safety. The locations for these phones are: 1. Tram Station 2 – 6089 Pelican Bay Boulevard 2. Community Center (2nd Floor) - 8960 Hammock Oak Drive WHO TO CALL IN A NONEMERGENCY If there is a noncriminal issue in progress, call the nonemergency phone number at 252-9300. For nonemergency issues that are not in progress, call the North Naples (Pelican Bay) SubStation at 252-9100. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office reminds us to “See it. Say it. Make the Call,” and wants you to be their partner in community safety. Nobody knows your neighborhood better than you. It’s always important to let law enforcement know about unusual activity. Make the call if you see anything that doesn’t seem right. The CCSO will check it out. SMOKING POLICY Smoking of any kind is not permitted on Foundation property, including The Commons, Community Center, Foundation parking lots, restaurants, beaches, decks, boardwalks and berms. This includes cigarettes, cigars, vapor cigarettes/pens, snuff and chewing tobacco. PETS Pets are allowed on the berms, but must be on a non-retractable leash not to exceed 6 feet in length. Pets must be under the control of the Member/ guest at all times. Pets are not allowed on trams, any boardwalk, beach decks, inside or outside dining areas, bar or kitchen areas, Foundation or Collier County beach, Community Center meeting rooms, activity rooms, fitness center and wellness studio at any time.
