Pelican Bay Member Guide 2024

Play in the Bay It’s been more than a year since Hurricane Ian hit Southwest Florida, impacting the beach-focused lifestyle of our area. The storm damaged many prominent businesses and attractions by the coast and at Pelican Bay, this experience was no different. The Foundation’s Marker 36 restaurant at North Beach suffered exterior damage, while Sandbar restaurant at South Beach received interior and exterior damage. Despite the odds, Pelican Bay’s Food & Beverage Department set out to rebuild, strengthen and restore these areas to the hubs for memorable food and drinks, social gatherings and events they are known for. After months of renovation and repair work, Pelican Bay is happy to enter 2024 with the return of one of our restaurants to offer a diverse food and beverage experience. Marker 36 at North Beach The highly anticipated reopening of Marker 36 took place in two phases. Bar and bar tables opened in October 2023 for lunch with a limited menu. By November of the same year, Marker 36 fully reopened with its newly renovated dining room, a full lunch and dinner menu and the return of live entertainment, such as the introduction of Sunday ambiance music and the weekly Music Monday series. Inspired by classic Southwest Florida, the revamped Marker 36 dining room creates a modern and inviting atmosphere. The blue watercolor color scheme stretches from the interior to the outdoor seating areas to evoke an upscale, casual beachside environment. Members and guests can expect a bright and vibrant beach view by day and an intimate, calm, breathtaking sunset glow into the evening. The design concept was intentionally crafted to reflect Chef Erinel’s passion for preparing exceptional coastal and traditional cuisine with local and seasonal ingredients. Sandbar Walk-up Bar The Sandbar Walk-up Bar offers premade, ready-to-go meals, cold beverages and treats like ice cream. Mobile Kitchen The Mobile Kitchen was introduced last year to provide members and guests with food options at South Beach during restaurant construction. It’s a go-to spot for hot meals until Sandbar reopens. We want to thank our members for their support, feedback and patience as we brought our food & beverage restaurants back better than before. We hope you will join us in these new spaces while enjoying the same exceptional service and culture that Pelican Bay offers.
