Welcome to Paradise The beaches in your backyard Pelican Bay is where members enjoy private beach access and almost three miles of sand and surf along the community’s western boundary. The Beach Department takes great pride in consistently providing reliable, safe and enjoyable beach services and programs to Members and their guests. Our staff will ensure your comfort by providing lounge chairs, cabanas and umbrellas from 9 a.m. to sunset (times may vary during the sea turtle nesting season). They also assist members with sailboats, kayaks and related equipment. South Beach Ideal for family enjoyment and activity, South Beach offers sailboats and kayaks, a picnic pod and beach take-out from our Mobile Kitchen and Walk-up Bar. South Beach is also home to Clam Bay, one of Pelican Bay’s most valued natural resources. The untouched shoreline, bordered by three species of protected mangrove trees, is popular with nature lovers and home to a wide array of wildlife, including several endangered species, such as manatees, sea turtles and smalltooth sawfish. North Beach Situated between the South Beach and The Ritz-Carlton, North Beach provides a more relaxed pace with equally dedicated staff. Home to Marker 36 restaurant, where guests enjoy a contemporary menu. North Beach is perfect for morning walks, dolphin watching and warm sunsets. Pelican Bay beaches also offer indoor/outdoor dining, fitness classes, take-out service from the restaurants, a full-service bar, shower and restroom facilities, handicap ramps and beach wheelchairs. The Foundation is committed to providing clean beaches and asks all members and guests to help us keep the beaches free of debris and litter. After all, the beach is literally the backyard to all Pelican Bay residents. Check Conditions Before You Go Before heading down to the beach, check out the beach conditions from the web cameras.
