P
elican Bay enjoys the most
extensive communications
network of any community
association. In addition to the
website PelicanBay.org, which is
a repository for vast amounts of
information, the community gener-
ates weekly e-newsletters, annually
publishes 19 printed newspapers
(Pelican Bay Post)
, pushes informa-
tion on various digital reader boards
dispersed throughout the property,
conducts multiple informational
and committee meetings and com-
munity events and promotions all year
long and, as needed, generates direct
mail correspondence.
In early 2014, the Pelican Bay
Mobile Application was launched as an
important avenue to send global push
notifications, and create user-friendly
access to Pelican Bay information “on
the go.” This year, wireless hotspots
have been optimized for signal
strength and volume of users. These
hotspots are provided throughout
various Foundation common areas and
beach restaurants for ease of Internet
access and mobility.
