T
he Pelican Bay Women’s
League (PBWL) was created
in 1995 for the purpose of
enhancing the quality of life in Pelican
Bay and enriching its spirit of com-
munity through social, cultural and
educational programs and activities.
This all-volunteer group has evolved
into one of the most active and
popular organizations in Pelican
Bay. Membership in The League
is open to any female resident or
seasonal renter. Joining The League
is a wonderful way to get to know
other women in the community and
share common interests or learn
new, stimulating activities.
The League sponsors monthly
luncheons from October through
May at a variety of country clubs in
the Naples area, each with a presenta-
tion by a speaker or a performance
group for members’ education and
enjoyment. There is always one large
themed event in February, such as the
“’60’s Happening,” which is purely for
entertainment and fun. These well-
attended luncheons are a wonderful
way to meet other members, share
a meal with an excellent program
